Ben Calçat was founded on 9th March 1975 in Port de Sóller. At the beginning it specialized as a workshop in the production of belts, sandals and bags. Later, leather became more expensive and for this and other reasons, it was unprofitable, so in the last twenty years it has produced Majorcan shoes.

The shop and the workshop were moved from Port de Sóller to Sa Lluna Street in Sóller. The shops in the Port were kept for some years until they were finally closed.

All the shoe-making is hand-made in high-quality leather (“nobuk”, “serratge” and “pellflor”) in a wide variety of colours.

Apart from our own we also have other well-known specialized brands.
